Dr. Millie Arocho, MD
medical director

Dr. Millie Arocho studied at the University of Puerto Rico, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities. She returned later to attend a 2-year pre-med program before enrolling into medical school.

While in medical school, Dr. Arocho was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer, including a 5% survival rate, and prognosis of two weeks left to live.  After multiple surgeries and chemotherapy, she came out stronger than ever, knowing from personal experience what it means to be a patient.

In 1988, Dr. Arocho was awarded her Doctor of Medicine degree and went on to complete a 4-year residency program, specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

In 2005, Dr. Arocho moved to Yelm, WA, where she opened a private practice focusing on services in primary care, office gynecology, bio-identical hormone therapy, and minor surgery using radio-frequency electromagnetic energy.

As her practice was next door to Yelm’s Mount Rainier Clinic run by the late John Cranton ARNP, she took the opportunity to learn about chelation therapy and hyperbaric oxygen treatments.

In 2012, Dr. Arocho was invited to join the Mount Rainier Clinic in Gig Harbor, under new ownership, and in collaboration with a team of naturopathic doctors. This unique cross-disciplinary environment contributed to a more holistic approach to service delivery and patient care.

In October 2016, Dr. Arocho returned to Yelm where she founded the Waterfalls Longevity Center.  A new and innovative practice, combining years of experience in both conventional and alternative medicine, and providing the community with much-needed medical services such as chelation therapy, nutritional IV infusions, bio-identical hormone therapy, and laser aesthetic treatments, to name a few.

To date, Dr. Arocho has supervised in excess of 2,000 chelation therapies and nutritional IV infusions.  She has also earned the title of Certified Chelation Therapist from the American College for Advancement in Medicine, and is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

Dr. Arocho likes to describe the name she gave to her clinic – Waterfalls – as “a combination of thoughts and ideas, different flows of knowledge, moving along a continuously powerful current of magnificent energy.”

In her spare time, Dr. Arocho enjoys reading a good book, hiking, and spending time in the great outdoors.
